1. Our Approach
IDEA-RING Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information relating to users of the Wheel SS app (the “App”) and the official website (together, the “Service”) only as needed to provide the Service and in accordance with applicable law.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App primarily stores the following information on your device:
- Wheel titles, entry names, colors, weights, number of entries, and whether winning entries have been removed
- Information needed for favorites, history, and replays
- Spin speed, stop duration, sound, language, and other App settings
- Star Dial selections, target entries, activation rates, and detailed feature settings
- Interface state, such as whether Star Dial has been opened for the first time
- Purchase entitlement status confirmed through the relevant store
3. Information We Receive or Review
We receive or review information only where needed in the following situations:
- When you contact us: your email address, name and other information you choose to provide, the content of your inquiry, and device, operating-system, or App-version information supplied for troubleshooting
- When operating the stores: aggregated or transaction information about purchases, refunds, downloads, usage, or technical issues provided by the App Store or Google Play
- When you use the website: pages viewed, referring source, country or region, browser and operating-system type, access time, IP address, and other technical information needed to deliver, secure, and measure the website
4. Information the App Does Not Collect
The App does not require an IDEA-RING account and does not use advertising SDKs, precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, advertising identifiers, or analytics SDKs that track users across apps or websites. We do not collect the contents of the wheels you create or your draw history.
On-device information is used to provide App features and is not sent to a server operated by us. It may be deleted when you delete the App, clear App data through device settings, or use an in-app deletion control.
5. How We Use Information
We use information we receive or review for the following purposes:
- To provide the App, the official website, and purchased features
- To confirm and restore purchases, respond to refunds, and prevent misuse
- To answer inquiries, investigate issues, and provide support
- To understand aggregate usage and improve features, presentation, stability, and security
- To detect and respond to unauthorized access, violations of our terms, or other misuse
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights or the rights of others
6. In-App Purchases and App Stores
In-app purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your credit-card number or bank-account details. Apple or Google processes information needed to confirm and restore purchases, prevent fraud, and operate its store.
The relevant Apple or Google privacy policy applies to information handled by each store.
7. Website Analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and improve the site. Where used, it is configured without persistent identification through cookies or localStorage. We do not use the resulting aggregate information to build advertising profiles or track people across websites.
Our hosting and delivery providers may process IP addresses, access times, requested URLs, browser information, and other network logs to deliver the site, prevent unauthorized access, and respond to service failures.
8. Service Providers
The Service primarily relies on the following outside providers:
- Apple App Store for distribution, purchase processing, entitlement checks, analytics, and issue reporting
- Google Play for distribution, purchase processing, entitlement checks, analytics, and issue reporting
- Cloudflare and similar hosting or delivery providers for website delivery, security, and aggregate traffic measurement
9. Sharing and Sale of Personal Information
We do not disclose personal information to third parties except where required by law, needed to protect a person’s life, health, or property, done with your consent, or necessary for a provider described above to process information on our behalf.
We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party behaviorally targeted advertising.
10. International Processing
Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and other providers may operate infrastructure outside Japan. Your information may therefore be processed in a country or region other than where you live. We select providers, enter into appropriate agreements, and take other reasonable steps as required by applicable law.
11. Retention
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond, prevent repeat issues, handle disputes, and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Store and website technical records are retained according to each provider’s policy. On-device data generally remains until you delete it or remove the App.
12. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension or restriction of processing of personal information we hold about you. You may also have rights to object, receive your data, or withdraw consent. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity.
Users outside Japan, including in the United Kingdom, may have additional rights under local law and may lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority. Contact us using the details at the end of this policy to make a request.
13. Children’s Privacy
The App is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children. A minor making an in-app purchase should have permission from a parent or guardian and follow the family controls provided by the relevant store. A parent or guardian may make a request concerning a child’s information where required by law.
14. Security
We take reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature and risk of the information we handle to prevent loss, alteration, disclosure, or unauthorized access. No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the App, applicable law, or our outside services change. We will clearly announce material changes and their effective date through the website or the App.
